About Me

Hello and welcome to my Website my name is Paul , and my interest in painting miniatures and building models began when i was young , my first model was a actually a warship i can not remember the name of it now

time as slightly eroded that name from memory.

But i did get the bug and completed many a model , aircraft and motorbikes

were my favourites to start with , then i got into painting fantasy miniatures from Games Workshop before drifting into some Napoleonic Miniatures painting , mainly they  better sellers. .

Then I had to give up my employment that I had after an accident at home , then The following year I developed Heart problems , which meant having 4 stents inserted into my main arteries , which helped a lot but I was still unable to work as I simply could no longer do the physical work , I had always done.

That is when i began my painting for a client Nick who was a busy Doctor , who could paint his own miniatures but time was an obstacle for him.

And he was a great customer providing me with regular monthly work for which I am truly grateful.

So , apart from selling Napoleonic units on Ebay , which is were he found me after buying a unit i was selling on there , he then became my first paying regular commission customer , painting mainly French Napoleonic , Carlist Wars, and the Aztec period for him.

And I carried on painting for him for quite a long time , but i got a little burned out , and felt i need a break from it for a while.

Then i started watching a fun artist on Twitch , which was a mix of painting models but fun to watch , not the best painter but they were learning , and it was fun to watch the progress being made with humour thrown in.

This re kindled my urge to paint again , which was a surprise to me to be honest , that something so simple got me wanting to paint again.

And before I knew it I was selling miniatures and models , plus taking on commission work again ,  all due to watching a streamer having fun.

The flags collection that I have , really started for the miniatures that I sold , which needed flags its that simple , although some were requests from customers , and the range grew from there really.

Now I have moved back mainly to the Warhammer40k and Fantasy World of miniatures , for the last few years again some ebay sales , plus this got me regular commission work along the way , as it was also a good way to get  my work out there to get interest in others.

So why the website you may ask, well the truth is i still have a couple of regular customers , who want a new army for there Warhammer40k table top games ,  or just add units to there existing ranks , but obviously no body needs armies or factions replacing on a regular basis , it is a costly hobby as i am sure you are aware , so i will just see how this goes .

I may do some you tube videos as well just for the fun of it  , someone may benefit from it , and that in itself would be a win.

But I am still open to 28mm miniatures for the British Infantry and  the French line , light , and guard Regiments , and most of the cavalry units that were , present at the Battle of Waterloo1815.

The same can be said for most Russian units from 1803

as I still have all the reference material for most of that period as well.

If you can provide the reference material then that would be great , and i will also look up any info I can gather , regarding any miniature or model , that I am asked to do a commission for.

If you have any questions ask away.

thank you

Paul
